#ADayWithReggie

You know #22 as an all-star running back, but SFF recently sat down with Reggie Bush to see what he’s all about off the field. Aside from the great 1-on-1 interview, we dropped a truckload of Dolphins gear in front of him and asked him to start signing. And who does all this gear go to? You, the people. For the past month we’ve posted the #ADayWithReggie contests all over our FB, Twitter & YouTube, and geared up enough fans to start our own football team, but we’re not done yet…

Playoff Implications?

Sunday’s Implications

Sunday’s game could prove to be a decisive point in the season for your Miami Dolphins.  We’re not only playing to be a game above .500 and keep our playoff hopes alive, but we could also sink the New York Jets to a (3-5) record that could leave them in the brink of another dismal year, YES!  With the thought of the 23-20 defeat still in their minds, your Dolphins will head into MetLife Stadium on Sunday thinking one thing and one thing only, PAYBACK!  We couldn’t ask for a more perfect scenario to distance ourselves in the standings and go from “PRETENDERS” to “CONTENDERS,” something we haven’t associated our Fins team with in years.

The Sideline – Episode 1

Dolphins fans are unlike any others – relentless, die hard, and in your face. Nearly two years ago South Florida Ford and the Miami Dolphins dreamt of a game day experience to match and reward that passion, so we created the Ford Sideline Club & Lounge. This season, we want to give you a behind the scenes look at everything that goes into bringing it to life. It’s unrivaled in the NFL and it’s all for you. Here’s the first episode of our 4 part miniseries – The Sideline. If you’ve been one of the lucky few to experience it so far, tell us about it.

The PROS!

After back-to-back heartbreaking losses, our Miami Dolphins are back at it again this time versus a Cincinnati Bengals team that has made quite the turnaround since their season opening embarrassing 44-13 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.  For the Dolphins it will be a combination of playing hard-nose defense and being able to put points on the board, which our offense led by rookie sensation Ryan Tannehill is capable of doing.  In last Sunday’s overtime loss to Arizona, “Tanny” threw for 431 yards braking Dan Marino’s rookie record by 99 yards!  Although he only had one touchdown, it was an 80 yard bomb to Brian Hartline, who is quickly Tannehill’s favorite receiver. Hartline also set some records with his 253 receiving yards on 12 catches. He also leads the NFL with 455 yards four weeks into the season.  The Dolphins committed three costly turnovers during the last 9 minutes of overtime at Arizona that sealed the victory for the Cardinals.  This Sunday will be the first time Cincinnati and Miami meet since Oct 31st, 2010, where our Dolphins delivered a victory.  Although we might not be considered a playoff team, it’s obvious that our beloved Dolphins are finally heading in the right direction.  With “Tanny” showing poise in the pocket and a highly motivated defense that has shown signs of greatness. There is one clear thing this Miami Dolphins team has that last year’s team under Sparano didn’t…excitement!

It’s Alive

It’s Alive

The crowd was excited, the adrenaline was pumping, and the Dolphins were leaving it all in the field until that win was secured. Football in South Florida – IT’S ALIVE!  The Dolphins took that home opener by the horns and did not let go. They understood how meaningful that game was, not just to the team trying to gather confidence for the rest of the year but to a South Florida community that hasn’t had much to celebrate in the football department in a very long while.  The Oakland Raiders were in town only to see the Miami Dolphins, specifically Reggie Bush, run all over them until that 35-13 victory was in the books. Finally, a much needed home opener win.

A Different Feel

A Different Feel

Once the game was over on Sunday you probably thought the obvious had just happened. They are who we thought they were and we ended up losing – here we go again!  But at some point during the first half didn’t you also get the feeling of “WAIT A SECOND!” Is that our defense being physical and keeping the Texans offense at bay even though they had numerous scoring opportunities? After our offense couldn’t execute the way we would’ve wanted them to, didn’t you get the feeling of, “we might have a chance if our defense plays like this the whole game and Tannehill moves the ball up field.”  Then, reality struck again after a couple of interceptions and we’re right back where we’re accustomed.
